Gede school is more special now

Works and donation by Maurizio Beghelli's friends

Gede's school is really special.
Not only because it is called "special school" and because its students are extraordinary children, but because it receives and transmits love.
What can be done for the disabled motorcycles and mental school just outside Watamu is not related to the future, the now famous and abused motto "Let's help them home", but damn anchored to the present.
A present that means trying to alleviate the labors and traumas of so many little beings that are the human representation of misfortune.
Born with major disadvantages in the Continent where there is less subsistence, and in a country where they are traditionally seen as "demon creatures" and usually abandoned or left to themselves in villages as harmless parasites.
Gede's special school would be little more than a bunch of crap and a hospitable place, if for a few years a pure Italian soul Maurizio Beghelli, Milanese sick of Africa and generosity, did not spend more than Limits to this cause.
We have already documented projects, work done (from small bakery to new classrooms), festivals, donations, and improving student and teacher conditions.
Now, like all months of August, Maurizio and her friends are ready to come back and give their contribution, along with what has already been done during these months of absence from Kenya.
Anyone can visit the Gede Special School and see what has become. There are still many things to do, there are benches, chairs, mosquito nets, cupboards.
Attached, a Pdf with ongoing projects and the simple and economic way with which one can help.
