Kenya is one of the most varied and extraordinarily rich in unique opportunities, emotions for everyone and attractions for every kind of enthusiast or adventure expert. If for many people the African country is above all synonymous with wild nature, relaxation and immersion in a world opposite to the western world, for others it has become more and more a destination for those who want to experience "strong sensations" or devote themselves to extreme sports, as well as enjoy new shows from incredible views.
Here is a list of ten organized adventures that Kenya can offer to tourists and travelers when they return to this beautiful country.
1 MOUNTAIN BIKE AT HELL'S GATE
The Hell's Gate National Park in Naivasha, offers the possibility of an unprecedented safari on a mountain bike following some of its tracks, preceded by a ranger-guide. Being on two wheels in a real African reserve where you can meet giraffes, gazelles, zebras, buffaloes and maybe even the lion, makes this "ride" an absolutely adrenaline-filled safari!
2 KITE-SURFING AT WHICH CHALE
In the pristine beach of Che Shale, twenty kilometers north of Malindi, the eco-lodge of the same name is run by fans of the first hour of Kite-Surfing which here is enhanced by the free sea without a barrier and a wind always ideal for those who love this sport, making it the ideal place throughout the coast.
3 RAFTING IN SAGANA
The Rapids Camp in Sagana is not far from Nairobi. There, the waterfalls of the nascent Tana River offer a natural backdrop to the Kirinyaga forest. A natural paradise suitable for extreme rafting enthusiasts, with rapids and rugged trails for those who love strong sensations.
4 BORANA PARAGLIDERS
From Borana Lodge, in the middle of the northern Rift Valley and not far from the amazing Lewa Conservancy, paragliding trips are organized above the enchanting scenery of the Samagua Valley. An electrifying experience that adds to the many emotions that can be experienced in that area.
5 JET SKIS ON THE KILIFI CREEK
Kilifi inlet, between Malindi and Mombasa, opens the view to a pristine world of mangrove forests, islets and coves to explore. One of the most fun and reckless ways to do it is on White Star jet skis, staying in the original houseboat.
6 ZIP LINING IN THE KEREITA FOREST
In the Kereita forest, not far from the capital Nairobi, towards the mountains of Aberdare, in addition to the spectacle of the caves and unspoilt nature, a zip-line, or rather an aerial cable, of 2 kilometers, has been built over the forest and allows fans to remain suspended in the void and experience a unique intoxication.
7 WATAMU PARACHUTING
In the beautiful seaside resort of Kilifi County, you can parachute out from Malindi Airport and float over the marine park, the many islets and coral reefs, with Mida Creak and Arabuko Sokoke Forest in the background. Then land on the white strip of sand that is wide and comfortable at low tide. Adrenaline rush!
8 FREE CLIMBING ON THE KENYA MOUNTAIN
The highest mountain in Kenya offers unique and breathtaking scenery, but also walls and rocks that have always attracted experienced or professional climbers and even free climbing enthusiasts. To avoid major dangers, there are particularly challenging routes that make climbing unforgettable in Kenya's mountain kingdom.
9 ON QUADS AT THE SIRIKOI
On the slopes of Mount Kenya and at the gates of the extraordinary Lewa Conservancy, you can book quad or dune-buggie excursions through the rugged terrain of the Rendille land, where you can meet elephants, antelopes and leopards and pass through the ancestral villages of this rural tribe.
10 BUNJEE JUMPING IN THE KIRINYAGA FOREST
In the Kirinyaga forest, not far from the Sagana rapids, you can also experience the thrill of Bunjee Jumping by jumping over the Tana River Falls. Emotion passed perhaps a bit of fashion, but still one of the historical "heart in the throat".
